Getting Help

See Site-specific Tips to find and share tips on how to get the player working with a specific piece of software or web site.

Use the forum / mailing list to ask questions.

This is HTML, and you have to add it to the HTML that makes up your page. If you don't have direct access to the HTML, you might be able to ask an administrator.

Facebook does not allow raw HTML. (With small exceptions).

The HTML inserts JavaScript. Some sites do not allow this. You can use the Flash player for sites that don't allow Javascript and do allow Flash.

Myspace allows HTML, but not Javascript.

Yahoo! Groups home page descriptions allow some HTML, but neither Javascript nor Flash.

Developer Versions

To embed the bleeding-edge version which is buggy and unreliable but has the latest features and bug fixes, use the Developer build.

To embed the lagging-edge 1.x version of the player which will never change use the static version of 1.5.31

If you create your own file of translations, make sure that you keep the exact same object structure as in the current version of the player script. And please share your translations with the group, so that others can benefit from your work.
